Dance Studio

The Dance House studio offers dance classes to students ages two and up. We offer both recreational and competitive dance classes. We offer classes in:

Ballet
Tap
Jazz

Clogging
Lyrical Dance
Hip-Hop Dance

Recreational Dance Programs

Our recreational program is offered to any student ages two and up. Registration for recreational dance classes begins in July and August. Fall dance classes begin in

September and typically run through May.

We will take recreational registration up through the month of December. Recreational students participate in the Gastonia Christmas parade. These students also shine in the spotlight in a dance recital held in May.

The Dance House also has classes at three area daycare/childcare centers. If your daycare/childcare would like a program, please contact us.

Dance Competitions

The Dance House competitive competition teams have won many regional and national dance competitions. Competitive dance classes run year round. All students interested in competitive dance classes must take summer dance classes, and be five years or older. During summer dance classes, students will be evaluated and placed on the team or teams best suited for their need for the following dance season. The students are placed in a team or teams that will help them learn and

grow as dancers. Solo, duet and trio lessons are offered to all competitive students regardless of experience and level. We believe that students learn and grow from this experience so we offer this service to all students interested. Our competition team competes in three regional and one national dance competition each year.
